VIVA MAGENTA, Color of the Year 2023

The choice of the Pantone's Color of the Year has been heavily influenced by the metaverse. That's why we are extremely proud to show you these old graphics, dating back to 2019, in which we chose this trendy shade for our logo, Brand Book and visuals.

Magenta color for The Nemesis' origins

During the Art Basel in Miami, Laurie Pressman, VP Pantone Color Institute, has recently announced the 2023 Color of the Year: Viva Magenta.

Promoting an optimistic celebration, this pulsating and stimulating color is a close connection between nature and latest technologies, with a special mention to the metaverse: it merges the richness, warmth, and strength of natural matters with the prosperous, open horizons of the digital world.
The metaverse creates new opportunities for us to express ourselves, and the raw fortitude of this shade inspires us to do so with confidence and bravery.

While the metaverse has influenced the creative industries this year more than any other digital media, The Nemesis can be considered as a true pioneer of this color trend.

If you are a long-time supporter of The Nemesis, you may remember seeing our white "N" on a magenta background on social networks. This was the icon of an important step, which defined the moment in which the founders of The Nemesis put the ideas into practice.

Of course, over time the project has evolved and adapted to circumstances and market changes, but if we reread our first Light Paper, that was written more than 3 years ago, we notice that the model to which we aspire today and which is leading us towards a continuous growth, has always been the same. And it embraces the concepts of inclusion, expression of individuality, community and also the same optimistic vision of prosperity and the new horizons celebrated by Vivo Magenta in 2023.

Please find below an extract of our first Light Paper, which perfectly embodies our mission:

[...] Unique of its kind will also be the ability to create game maps and allow creators of those maps, as well as the players, to monetize their capacity and their popularity. All of this will lead to birth of a new concept of community and aggregation, one space of identification and personal growth where everyone will be able to vent, in a new and totally way meritocratic, his own creativity [...]

Will Viva Magenta bring good luck to our company? Fingers crossed!
