The experience designed for the 2023 edition promises to be even more immersive, delving into the cutting-edge realms of the metaverse, NFTs, web3, AI, virtual and augmented reality, generative art, and much more.

COMMUNITYVERSE: A GATEWAY TO THE FUTURE

Lucca Comics & Games coined the term "Communityverse" to define a novel experimental cultural space, located on the border between the physical and digital worlds, entirely dedicated to new technologies and languages. Over the course of five days, experts and guests will lead in-depth discussions to comprehend and analyze the near future of new technologies. The metaverse is accessible from both desktop (via a simple URL link) and mobile app, inviting users to explore the virtual version of the city of Lucca, its main streets and landmarks. Beyond mere exploration, gamification takes center stage, turning the experience into a dynamic adventure. Participants will not only navigate through the renowned cityscape but also engage in challenges and lively activities along the way.

Beyond the boundaries of the virtual realm, this collaboration brings forth a fusion of the digital and real worlds. In fact, participants can earn an array of rewards, from special avatar skins to exclusive platform assets. Some games even offer the chance to win real-world prizes, such as official merchandise from Lucca Comics & Games.
