The Nemesis, the entertainment platform that merges the virtual and real worlds through virtual and augmented reality, is proud to announce the collaboration with Lucca Comics & Games for the second consecutive year.
The famous festival, a reference for lovers of comics, animation, games and videogames, will this year continue to explore the frontiers of the metaverse, NFTs, blockchain, web3, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, generative art, and much more.
The main objective of Lucca Comics & Games is the dissemination and in-depth study of these new technologies, and to this end the "Communityverse" is back this year. This experimental cultural section, located on the border between the physical and digital worlds, is entirely dedicated to the new technologies and contemporary languages. Five days of intelligent dissemination in which guests and experts will lead the public in discovering the near future.
A key element of this partnership is therefore the creation of 'Luccaverse', the metaverse created and launched in 2022, which will be even more interesting this year: a virtual environment offering participants the chance to earn digital (redeemable online) and physical rewards during the 2023 edition.
In the run-up to the festival there will be a series of activities aimed to involve the community.
From 2 October, users will be able to access a special virtual arena (set in Lucca) to play the brand new Duel Arena game through the link thenemesis.io/@luccaverse. In the following days, the Luccaverse will be fully explorable, with new content and challenges: speed runs, trivia quizzes and also quests with missions that will highlight the city's points of interest for an edutainment-style storytelling.
In addition to digital rewards like special avatar skins and other platform rewards, some games will also offer real-world prizes (such as Lucca Comics & Games official merchandise) that users will be able to collect directly during the festival.
